October is Now a Thing of the Past!!!

The leaves have turned and are in the process of falling. Don's job is to get them picked up before they mold on the wet ground. You can see how happy this makes him.
As for the inside - Jeni and David helped strip the wallpaper off two of the walls in the livingroom. Again, notice the big smiles on their faces. I would have helped but I had to take pictures for my blog!!!!

Tyler's first Halloween was great fun. He wasn't sure what was going on, but as he observed his brothers and cousins, he knew it had to be something special.
The Utah grandsons - Esplan, Finn, Christian, Tyler, Michael, Joseph, and Sean.

August/September Went Soooooooo Fast!

Where did these last two months go!! Let's see if I can update you on our recent activities. The biggest change in my life has been the move to the new Mountain Green Elementary School. It is a beautiful school and I work with a great team. I have a wonderful class, as well. I do, however, miss the old gang back at Morgan Elementary!

I'm not sure what is going on here, but it must have stumped me for a moment!
The kids are showing me their "Life Books." They decorated them with personal mementos and then mod-podged them. We write in them almost every day.
After a very warm September, we are now enjoying true fall-like weather.
Don continues to be very busy doing the things that good bishops do. Sorry, I don't happen to have any pictures of him doing those things!

July Happenings

The first part of July found us visiting the Texas kids. You have no doubt already viewed the pictures on their blogs, so I won't bore you with repeats. We did enjoy going to the Dallas Temple, ballgames, BBQs, fireworks, swimming, movies, and just hangin' out with the family.

The end of July found us in Southern Utah at our McClellan Family Reunion in Zion's. We had a great time, but missed our very own family members - David was our only child that could make it! Again, we enjoyed visiting, eating, hiking, the St. George Temple, and Tuachan Amphitheatre (The Sound of Music).
We were busy in the middle of the month, too, but I can't seem to recall just what we were doing! Oh well, this is probably enough for now! (hahaha)

Saturday Fun & Games!

During the nice weather yesterday, we were able to have all of our Utah children. This was our first chance to play grandpa's birthday game called Kube.
Here's another shot of the game. As you can see there was a lot of people who thought it was really fun to play. Here is our thrown-together BBQ consisting of shish kabobs, hamburgers and hot dogs.
Here are three of grandpa's little helpers. When he had to take the edger to the front yard, there were 6 more than willing hands ready to push that machine with grandpa.
There were a few sunburns, but other than that, we had a wonderful saturday full of swimming, Kube, and food. Here is a shot of the kids in the pool and grandpa and Bruce playing Kube. It was really fun.

Summer Begins

Grandma and Grandpa enjoyed a sleepover with Christian, Michael, Finn, Esplan, Joseph, and Sean. We watched videos, ate treats, and played games. We had so much fun that the grand kids had a hard time going to sleep!
Don celebrated another birthday on May 21. He woke up, went to the door of his tent, and behold there was a Liahona sitting upon the ground. It was made of the finest craftsmanship and skill. He will never lose his way now!
Friday the 13th, I had a ligament replacement in the CMC joints of the fun. Basically what that boils down to is a lot of pain and swelling. The doctors tell me I should feel great in a matter of months. I guess this is the end to my boxing career.

April Happenings

Little Tyler James LeDuc (Kimberly & Obed's #3 son) was born on April 14, 2008. What a Cutie!

He arrived just in time for us to get a quick peek, because the next morning we were off to.....
HAWAII !!!

We really enjoyed our break from Utah's wintery weather - but most of all we enjoyed our traveling companions - namely Emily & Geoffrey, Alex & Hayley, Bill & Sandy, and Granda Smith.

The time passed way too quickly, but we had to get back for.....
David's Graduation !!

Yep, David is now a proud graduate of BYU. We, of course, are very proud of him.
